| Finishing your Batik | |

OK. Now that you own a batik, how are you going to frame it and hang it?
There are 2
popular methods of displaying your batik. You can stretch it like
a canvas or frame it like any other piece of art. There is no
preferred method but you still must ensure that you keep it from direct
sun light.

In this example, all we have done is stretched the batik.

One new trend is to frame the sretched batik with a "floating" frame. It's a little hard to see exactly how it looks. ![]() |

This batik has been framed so that the natural edges are visible.
